Another personal ‘check-in’ post this morning…
Personal Weather Report:
Slept better last night; now feeling somewhere between excited and nervous - you know that kind of butterflies feeling, as I’m looking forward to my trip tomorrow but have lots I need to do today. Still have a sense of needing to ‘catch-up’ on stuff I’ve let slip recently. So, overall, I’m feeling about 7/10 today.
Intentions for Today
I have 4 priorities for today:
- be fully present for my client sessions this morning
- follow-up on stuff that I need other people to be doing (IoD & Trafford Healthcare mainly) - by PHONE not email
- go shopping - Yaeger sale and House of Fraser sale both today!!
- spend some time with my wife and son this afternoon and evening, before my trip

Do this ‘check-in’ before opening my email
I’m out of the habit of posting in my blog just now - have been for a while; and I’m trying to figure out why that might be. But the figuring out isn’t getting anywhere, so I’m just going to try using this blogspace to get down some of what’s flying around in my head. It may not make much sense!!
Business:
+ Easier than it’s ever been before to be succesful at what I do and I’m really enjoying doing it
- Frustrating in that I’m feeling short of time to progress some interesting things I want to do
Health:
- Lousy, can’t seem to get on top of feeling healthy; my diet is rubbish and my exercise non-existent - and everytime I try to make a change it seems to get de-railed. I’m missing something.
Coming-up:
I’m off to London on a weekend course led by my ex-coach Patrick Ryan.
This couldn’t have come at a better time, even though I’m feeling so short of time.
Hopefully time out on this course will help create some clarity and headroom.
