Male Early Retirees Die Early Too
An Austrian study finds that when blue-collar male workers involuntarily retire early, they are also significantly more likely to die earlier. The same effects are NOT seen in women.
Causes are likely to relate to increased alcohol consumption and smoking, and to the stress of getting booted-out early.
Anybody not think we should be doing more health-awareness campaigning aimed at men?
